Toddlers

Encouraging curious and confident learners

It’s amazing when you see your toddler showing glimpses of who they are as young people. At our centres, it’s our responsibility to encourage these personalities to continue flourishing by creating a space where toddlers can be curious, feel creative and understand how they belong in the world.

Our centres in your community

We make sure all our centres are part of the local community through fostering strong connections with neighbouring primary schools, parks, and locally based organisations. This enhances a sense of belonging within and beyond our centre.

The learning environments we create both indoors and outdoors are filled with carefully planned, age-appropriate activities and experiences that support your toddler in their learning, development, and wellbeing. Creating opportunities for them to thrive as individuals or socialise in small and large groups.

Friendly, familiar faces every day

We want your toddler to grow and thrive. To support this, we employ the best team of educators and teachers.

Our team is made up of experienced, qualified, and incredibly passionate professionals. They know that to help your toddler become a lifelong learner and creative problem solver, they need to build a stimulating and nurturing environment. One that’s responsive to every child’s needs and interests.

They’re guided by Early Learning Services’ early learning program that follows the principles, practices and outcomes of the National Early Learning Framework (EYLF) to ensure the following:

  • Children have a strong sense of identity
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  • Children are confident and involved learners
  • Children are effective communicators

A place where learning is loved

Our toddler rooms are set up with intentional play-based learning in mind. Within the curriculum framework, play enables your toddler to develop fundamental skills for life-long learning such as oral language and their ability to self-regulate. It also creates the perfect environment to socialise and form friendships.

As part of creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for your toddler, we look to strengthen their relationship with their teachers and educators through expressive body language, vocalisation and facial expressions to help better understand and respond to one another.

What your toddler will learn:

Dramatic play

Learning to pretend, imagine and act to express themselves and interact with their surroundings.

Problem solving

Building the foundations for decision making, negotiation, creativity and more.

Peer play

Developing social skills, language, self-regulation, creativity, and improving literacy.

Stories

Encouraging listening and communication skills while boosting vocabulary, creativity and exposure to culture.

Climbing

Improving dexterity, physical strength, problem solving, balance, focus and boosting their overall confidence.

Music

Improving sensory development, mood, literacy, numeracy, vocabulary, and listening skills.

We open earlier and close later

We’ve listened to our families and understand that extended hours are extremely helpful when you’re busy. That’s why we’re pleased to offer opening and closing hours that make it more convenient for you to drop off and pick up your toddler.
